A 10-minute Sketch (Perspective Drawing)

For more works, please visit my official sites: Facebook – www.facebook.com RAISON BASSIG PORTRAIT SKETCHES – www.facebook.com RAISON BASSIG PHOTOGRAPHY – www.facebook.com Here’s a sample of a quick drawing (actual completion: 10 minutes). The point here is practicing “quick & dirty” sketches (ie, overlapping lines, erasures, informal perspective, etc.) to visualize a design concept in the quickest time possible. Hope you can learn something from this sample sketch. Thanks! :) -Arch. Raison Bassig- -Philippines-

Videos like this make me realize how much I suck at life……

  15. raisonjohn says:

@hunter1801 hi hunter1801, just a piece of advice: on the contrary, try to look at things in a different perspective. if you see something (whether bad or good), don’t compare yourself to them. Instead, use them as your motivation and inspiration to do better. It takes a lot of confidence, dedication, and patience to achieve something in life. I’ve been there, even flunked high school and wasted my life years back. But if I was able to turn my life around, so can you…. just a piece of advice.

  16. raisonjohn says:

@TheAaalllloo That’s true. :D Good observation on the mistake :)

  17. raisonjohn says:

@iDraw3G … what a generalization… but if that’s your opinion, then so be it.

  18. raisonjohn says:

@manyak1993 might be, but the emphasis is not on the color presentation but on formulating ideas on paper in the quickest time possible. but thanks for the comment.

  19. raisonjohn says:

@roncorpuz yup ron, mit ako batch 2004 nag grad

  20. raisonjohn says:

@mcalgar can you please expand your observation?

  21. raisonjohn says:

@row268 it’s a typical Pentel pen marker (the red one)

  22. raisonjohn says:

    @stuart8965756799 thanks for the comment!!! :) i really appreciate it :) )

  23. raisonjohn says:

@Parrot3105 you can say 40% order and 60% controlled chaos ;)

  24. raisonjohn says:

@AletheDon again, just to reiterate what i put on the video description: the emphasis is not on color rendering or presentation or realism; it’s formulating ideas on paper in the quickest time possible. Emphasis is on creating mistakes, on “thinking with your hand”, on translating what you are imagining to the piece of paper in front of you on the fly without erasures, without rest, without re-thinking.
