Nice video, the woodless graphite, I’ve tried them but find after blending they produce a unwanted shine at angles. Prior to blending I like to ad darks (blacks) with carbon pencils Wolff’s and generals primo. Just thought i would share once again nice vid.

H is for Hard and B is for bland. This means the lead is soft and more brittle, great for shading with a stump and the H are too hard to shade with and too light, they are great for small details, since the pencil last longer it’s sharp point.
The higher the number for B, the darker the lead, the higher the number for H the lighter the lead is, 9 H is very light. Middle ground , get a HB pencil.

Don’t thrown your old kneaded erasers away, use them for working with charcoal or something you wouldn’t want your good eraser getting ruined with. Big money saver. =]

@BrianAlanVH I’m just now learning so is any sketchbook really good? I saw something about some being “acid free” so it implies that maybe some are better than others.

i really want to learn how to draw, I’m serious about anime, cartoons, realistic drawings, and caricatures… but I’m not good at any of them like, on computer tutorials i follow all the steps and do everything I’m supposed to but it always looks bad… could you make a drawing technique video to help me and my drawing friends because we all have the same problem

it’s obvious you’re doing professional… and since I’m attending to an arts college, the question that bothers me is: do you earn good money with drawing ?
